📝 How to Create a Customer as a Dog Walker
If a dog owner wants to book a walk but doesn’t have an account, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Go to "Create Customer"
📍 Navigate to My Account > Create Customer in the app or website.
Step 2: Enter Basic Information
Fill out the required details:
✅ Dog Owner’s Name – Just their first and last name.
✅ Email Address – So they can receive notifications.
✅ Dog’s Name – Give their pup an identity on Repawt!
That’s it! No passwords, no complex forms—just the basics to get started.
Step 3: Confirm & Create the Customer
Once you hit "Create", the customer will be added to your system. An email confirmation will be sent to them so they know their dog is now in good hands!
📅 Creating a Booking for a Customer You Just Added
Now that the customer is in the system, it’s time to book their first walk!
Step 1: Go to "Create Booking"
📍 Find the customer in your list and select "Create Booking."
Step 2: Fill in the Booking Details
🗓 Date & Time – When the walk will take place.
📍 Location – Where you’ll pick up the dog.
🚶♂️ Duration – How long the walk will be.
Step 3: Confirm the Booking
Once you confirm, the dog owner will get an email notification with all the details. They don’t need to do anything—just sit back and relax!
🔔 How the Customer Stays Updated (Without an Account!)
Even though the dog owner doesn’t have an account, they will still be kept fully informed through email updates:
✔️ Booking Created – They’ll get a confirmation email once the booking is set.
✔️ Walk Started – When you begin the walk, they’ll receive an update.
✔️ Live Updates – If you upload a photo during the walk, it will be sent straight to their email! 📸🐕
✔️ Walk Completed – When the walk is finished, they’ll receive a summary report.
